About Warlock Collectibles

Warlock Collectibles is a new Greek collectibles retailer specialising in Magic: The Gathering sealed product — Play Booster Boxes, Collector Booster Boxes, and Commander products. We are based in Greece and sell across Greece and the EU via Skroutz, CardMarket, and our own website.

We were founded by two long-term MTG players with deep knowledge of the hobby and the European market. Meet the team → Our goal is simple: bring EU-sourced product to Greek collectors at fair, competitive pricing — closing the gap that has always existed between what Greek players pay and what the rest of Europe pays.
Pre-ordering is the best way to guarantee your box at launch price before stock sells out. For every new MTG set, we open pre-orders 4–6 weeks before the release date.

Why pre-order? Collector Booster Boxes in particular sell out fast — especially for Universes Beyond sets like Final Fantasy or The Hobbit. Pre-ordering locks in your price and ensures we order exactly the right quantity. No speculative inventory, no surprises.

MTG Products — Play Boxes & Collector Boxes

A Play Booster Box contains 30 Play Boosters (each with 14 cards), introduced in 2024 to replace both Draft and Set Boosters. It is the standard box for the MTG release cycle.

Play Booster Boxes are ideal for players who want to draft with friends, casual collectors opening packs for fun, and anyone building a collection from a new set without spending collector-level prices. Each pack guarantees at least one Rare or Mythic Rare, with a chance of additional rares and a traditional foil.
A Collector Booster Box contains 12 Collector Boosters — the premium product in every MTG set. Each pack is loaded with foils, borderless treatments, special art variants, and exclusive cards that simply don't appear in Play Boosters.

Collector Boxes are for serious collectors who want the most visually stunning versions of cards, players who want foil and alternate-art variants for their decks, and those who track sealed product value over time.

Worth it? If you collect, yes. If you're primarily a player focused on gameplay value per euro, a Play Booster Box gives you more cards for your money.
It comes down to what you want from the product:

Get a Play Booster Box if: you want to draft with friends, you're building a collection from a new set, or you want more total cards for your budget.

Get a Collector Booster Box if: you collect alternate-art and foil cards, you want the premium version of the set, or you're on the collectible side of the hobby.

Many serious collectors buy one of each per set — one Play Box to draft, one Collector Box for the premium cards.

MTG Formats

Commander (EDH) is by far the most popular format in Greece — a 4-player multiplayer format with 100-card singleton decks, perfect for playing with friends. The vast majority of the Greek MTG community plays Commander regularly.

For competitive play, Standard and Pioneer are the most active formats at hobby shop events. Modern exists but has a smaller local scene.

Two great entry points depending on how you want to play:

Commander Precon Deck (~€55): a ready-to-play 100-card deck with a built-in strategy. The fastest, cheapest way to start playing with friends. No deckbuilding required.

Draft with friends: each player opens 3 Play Booster packs and builds a deck on the spot. Great for learning the cards and playing on a level field regardless of collection size.

Start with Commander if you have a regular playgroup, Draft if you want to experience a new set from scratch.
A Commander deck is exactly 100 cards built around one legendary creature — your Commander. All cards except Basic Lands must be unique: no duplicates.

The easiest way to start is a Commander Precon Deck — official pre-built 100-card decks released with every major MTG set, designed for immediate play out of the box. From there you upgrade individual cards over time.

You will also want life trackers (dice or a phone app) and card sleeves to protect your deck.
Booster Draft is a Limited format where you build your deck on the spot from packs opened at the table. Typically 6–8 players each open a pack, pick one card, pass the rest to the left — and repeat for 3 packs total. You then build a 40-card deck from what you drafted.

Draft is one of the best ways to experience a new set and is completely fair — everyone starts equal regardless of collection size.

For a casual home Draft: 3 Play Booster packs per player, a group of 4–8 people, and about 3 hours.

Pricing, Shipping & Orders

Greek collectors have historically paid 15–25% more than the European average for MTG sealed product. This is a structural problem: the Greek market has been served primarily by local hobby shops buying through multiple distributor tiers, each adding margin before the product reaches the end buyer.

Most serious Greek players already know this — they check CardMarket and see the gap. The problem is that importing individually from EU sellers adds shipping costs and loses local delivery convenience.

Warlock Collectibles sources directly from authorised EU distributors and passes that pricing advantage to Greek buyers — available on Skroutz with local delivery speeds.
Yes — we ship to all of Greece via Skroutz Marketplace with standard courier delivery. For EU buyers outside Greece, our products are also listed on CardMarket — Europe's largest TCG marketplace — giving you EU-sourced product with competitive pan-European shipping rates.

Wizards of the Coast releases 4–5 major MTG sets per year, typically in January, April, June/July, and September/October. Each set follows a predictable cycle: announcement → preview season → prerelease weekend → launch.

The best way to stay ahead: join our mailing list. We notify subscribers 4–6 weeks before each set release when pre-orders open — so you never miss launch pricing on a set you want.
